The Festival

Ca’n Picafort has opted for art as a tool for change and has created the Saladina Art Fest.

This festival promotes local culture and identity to turn large façades into public works of art. This initiative is an added value for the town, giving it a new character and strengthening the links between the setting and its residents.

Every year, Saladina brings together artists from all over the world and becomes a meeting point and centre of creation for contemporary art. It is an intimate event where four guest artists create a small family, living alongside the residents for seven days, enjoying dinners and conversations outdoors in the intense task painting murals.

Saladina concludes with variety of cultural activities, ranging from music and theatre to art exhibitions, workshops and educational events for children.
